Delete Your Data

How to request deletion of your data in NYRA (developer: Ashraf Hammad). Updated 2026.

You can delete all of your data by deleting your account in the app, or ask us to delete some of your data (e.g. uploaded photos) without deleting your account. Both options are described below. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, this is how you exercise your right to erasure under GDPR Article 17.

Option 1 — Delete your account and all data (in‑app)

  1. Open NYRA.
  2. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
  3. Confirm. Your account and associated personal data are permanently deleted (hard delete) — this cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email (account or specific data)

  1. Email [email protected] from the email address on your account (or include your username / account ID).
  2. Use the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
  3. Tell us whether you want your entire account deleted or only specific data (for example, your uploaded face/palm/coffee photos, or your reading history).

We verify the request comes from the account owner, then action it. We respond and complete the request within 30 days.

Note: deleting your data in NYRA does not delete a separate account you may have in a different app. NYRA accounts are independent.
